The Kingdom is here…

Today we celebrated with an Easter assembly. We were joined by residents of Merrivale. It was a wonderful celebration of the hope provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, with our students  entertaining with items, songs and words of wisdom.

Next term we are supporting Run4Bibles as part of our cross country. This cause helps provide Bibles for school children in South Africa. Please consider supporting your child in finding some sponsors for the race. No matter the amount it will help grow the Kingdom on earth.

At this time of year we pause and remember the gift we have been given, and the ease of its acceptance. We don’t have to do anything more than say yes, and amen. It’s free, it’s eternal, and it’s for everyone. The world today is searching for the meaning of life, answers to circumstance, and a common hope. Pure Jesus is all of these. He is the sacrifice and hope for all circumstances. It takes    courage, humility and discipline to listen to your Father, accept His wisdom, submit to His authority, and revel in the freedom of His Kingdom. Our prayer is that you refresh that personal relationship with Jesus     that is the foundation of our faith.

Enjoy the time with family over the next two weeks and return in Term Two refreshed.

‘Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28: 18-19 (NLT)
