Jesus is restorative

Two weeks in and it is great to see our students settled into their learning routines. Term Two is always an important term as learning is consolidated and a solid platform built  from which to achieve our goals. Please continue to ask questions around learning at home and if unsure contact your child’s teacher for clarification.

A group of our students are at a Noho Marae for 2 days next week. This is part of the Te Reo/Tikanga  programme and will provide an invaluable experience of Marae life.  We thank Mrs Smith for organising this opportunity.

We had a wonderful assembly yesterday, with students taking the lead in worship and MC duties. We also celebrated Mr Keyte’s Masters graduation, a great example of life-long learning for our students.

This week we celebrate 20 years with Carole Wootten in our office. Carole has made a huge contribution to our school over the years and has our office humming along. We thank her for the heart she has for Excellere and her continuing input to our school.

The second aspect of our Special Character statement is shared below. This is the foundation that our school is built upon and what all our families agreed to support at enrolment.
