Our growing community

Our Leavers’ dinner on Wednesday was a relaxed evening to farewell our students who are completing their schooling careers. It was wonderful to see so many parents there, and share the excitement of a new season beginning. Our prayers are with them as they start a new adventure, in God’s creation.

Our ESOL students had a day at the Adventure Forest on Wednesday. A beautiful, sunny day saw them climbing, balancing and zipping through the treetops. This was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy each others company in God’s creation, as they faced the challenge of height and trust.

NCEA exams have started for some, with the rest beginning next week. Again, we pray that our students have clear minds and good memories at this time of year as they approach this season of testing.

From a small seed Excellere College has grown into a solid learning community. After a time of recent consolidation we are now experiencing new growth with new families and facilities arriving in 2019. With your support we look to continue to provide a Christian environment for learning which reflects the love of Jesus through compassion, integrity and honour.

Blessings

He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the [a]air come and nest in its branches.”

Matthew 13: 31-32 (NASB)
