Happy birthday Jesus

This is our final newsletter for 2018 and I would like to reflect on our focus: Special Character and our Christian learning culture. We have had an emphasis on character development and Jesus as our role model throughout the year. The dedicated Christian Living time each week in our Senior College has given an opportunity to reflect on our faith, learn from the Bible and explore questions and issues. We have  updated our Core Values, which are now embedded in our learning culture. These are the expectations and aspirations we have for our students, and their families. We will continue to strengthen our Christian culture, and look forward to your partnership in this during 2019.

Our Award events this week were an excelebration of student achievement and success this year. The two events were well attended by parents and were a great way to end our year.                            Thank you to Mrs Grammer, Mrs Smith, Mr Carroll and their team of supporters for organising such   wonderful experiences.

Our new classrooms will now be arriving after school closes for the year, and we look forward to having these new learning spaces ready for action in 2019.

As we finish our learning year, I want to thank all our families for their support and love during 2018.  Your continuing prayers and encouragement mean a lot to us, as we partner with you to “train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22: 6 NASB)

I wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year. As we celebrate the birth of Christ on earth, if an opportunity comes up to share His story take it. Sow the seed and let the Lord do the rest…
