We must press into the Lord, at all times

2020 is the 40th anniversary of our school’s beginning. In Term Two 1980 a small group of parents from Alive Church began a school for their children. Using the church and a camp unit as a classroom they started with about  30 children. The Lord blessed them with wisdom and foresight as in the following years, the school grew, a gym and classrooms were built, and now we are a solid part of the Whangarei learning community. We want to celebrate this journey next year and are looking for a dedicated group to lead this. If you are interested in being on an organising group, or have a gifting to share, please  contact Nat Brown on 022 4628 895 or, its natty j@hotmail.com.

Our seniors finished their exams today. This was an opportunity to practice their exam method, remember the content of the year, and discover what they now need to revise and re-learn for later in the year.    Although it can be a stressful time it is a useful rehearsal for what’s to come. We pray for a restful weekend for all our seniors, and their whanau.

A group of intrepid Year 13 students head off to the snow this weekend, with Mr Mackay. We pray for safe travels and a great time on the slopes.
