We all have a servant heart
Because God loves us all, made us all unique, and doesn’t make mistakes we all have a servant heart. It’s just that some of us don’t know it, so we don’t show it. We need to be aware that this is a part of who we are, who we were designed to be. Jesus showed us through His Word, and His acts of service that we were meant to serve each other. Love God, love your neighbour implies a straightforward action. We are to display love through our actions towards God, and each other. Our service should not seek acknowledgement or praise, it should be selfless and unsolicited. When an opportunity arises to serve others we should not need to think twice about our response. No matter how small the service, we all have the capacity to serve. Watch out for your next opportunity….
Our Year 13 students had a great time in the snow this week. They were blessed with sunshine and snow. We thank Mr Mackay, Miss Hale and Mr Grammer for their support for this adventure.
Next week a group of Year 11 students are off to OPC Great Barrier for a week of adventure and fun. Mr Keyte will be joining them as they tramp, climb, swim, navigate, sleep, and pray their way through the week. We pray for a safe journey, calm weather and a great time for all during their time away.
2020 is the 40th anniversary of our school’s beginning. If you are interested in being on an organising group, or have a gifting to share, please contact Nat Brown on 022 4628 895 or, its natty firstname.lastname@example.org.
