Our hope is in the Lord

Following our Leavers’ dinner tonight we have our Leavers’ assembly next Thursday. This is another  opportunity to celebrate the end of a schooling career and the beginning of a new season of learning. You are welcome to join us after interval, next Thursday, in the Gym for this annual event.

A reminder that our Charter Community Consultation survey is still open until next Monday Nov 4th. This is an opportunity to give us feedback on our Goals for this year and have input into our Strategic plans for the future. Your responses will be considered at our upcoming Board strategic meeting.

Next week NCEA exams start for a few, then the following week it’s all go. We pray that our students are well-prepared and that the Lord’s peace will rest on them during this time.

As we head towards the end of year it is important that we remember the hope that Jesus has given us, for the future. His sacrifice for us all, and the Kingdom amongst us means we can approach any  circumstance with confidence that we are never alone, and His Spirit is our courage. I encourage you all to press into the Lord at this busy time of year, and be sure to care for others and yourself.

2020 is the 40th anniversary of our school’s beginning. We are looking to celebrate this during term two next year. If you are interested in being on an organising group, or have a gifting to share, please contact Nat Brown on 022 4628 895 or, its_natty_j@hotmail.com
