School holidays brought forward

The Ministry of Education has brought the school holidays forward to start on Monday, 30th March (next Monday), with schools being open for distance learning again from Wednesday, 15th April (after Easter Tuesday). At the end of the school holidays, schools will be open for distance learning but not physically open for staff to work at the schools. The instruction to stay home (Alert Level 4) will continue beyond the new school holiday period but schools will be technically open for distance instruction. Teachers will be working offsite. This gives us all time to pause and plan the ‘new normal’ that we are experiencing.

We are spending the next two days planning for our next phase in learning delivery. Staff will be using google classroom and email to share their programmes with you in the weeks ahead. Please watch out for these communications.

If there will be any changes to your living arrangements, or contact details, during this time please let the school office, and your teacher, know before Thursday this week.

Please keep praying, keep safe, and love your neighbour.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”           Jeremiah 29: 11 (NIV)
