We must walk the talk first
We had a busy Wednesday this week, with our internet going out, our Spring water supply stopping, and then a small fire in the Food Technology room. Thankfully all these events were handled well by staff and students, a reflection of our caring culture, and our systems.
We have our senior Ball tomorrow night. This is a great opportunity for our students to experience a social night out in a safe environment. We also welcome students from Renew school, again this year.
We had a very informative parent evening last night which highlighted the dangers our children face from pornography in the digital world. A big thank you to Ben Keyte for organising, Jennie and Shelley for presenting.
In Matthew 7: 1-5 the parable of the ‘log and speck’ reminds us that we must first reflect upon our own behaviours and beliefs before we can consider those of others. God is the judge of all, and if we are to give advice we must ensure our integrity is intact first. We must encourage each other, in love, share our Christian message respectfully and witness the inclusive nature of God with all.
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure yo use, it will be measured to you.:
Matthew 7: 1-2 (NIV)
