Blessed to be loved by God

We begin the second half of this term with more variable weather, Level 2 still in place, and the hope of a settled learning environment through to the end of the term. We are praying that we stay on top of Covid and anxiety levels can be lessened as we head into Spring. Please continue to pray peace and healing across God’s creation.

In Luke 18: 9—14 Jesus told the parable of the proud Pharisee and the humble tax collector. As they both prayed, Jesus pointed out the difference in their approach to God, one self-satisfied, the other            self-effacing. We are reminded that humility in the face of God’s uncompromising love for us all should be our default response. We are blessed to invited into His story for creation.

Graeme Whitehead, Principal

“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
