Grace and Blessings

Term Four has begun with the usual unsettled Spring weather and a settled student return to learning. I was impressed with the positive atmosphere around the school this week. We pray for a peaceful, uninterrupted term.

Well done to Bianca Allan, Chane Schreuder and Jack Milina, our Duke of Edinburgh students, who completed the Cape Brett overnight tramp this week. They were supported on the tramp by Mrs Anson, Mr Keyte and Daniel Whitehead.

We welcomed Phil Buchanan back yesterday. He completed his quarantine time and is now ready to support his students for the run into the exam season.

We welcome Rebecca Pennefather as our new senior English teacher/HOD from 2021. She brings experience in this area and her own set of giftings to our school. We also congratulate Ben Keyte, who will be our  Senior College Leader next year. Ben will lead us into a time of change with NCEA and growth in the Senior College.

Join us next Friday at our first assembly for a while, as we celebrate the Lord’s grace and blessings at Excellere College.

“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,”
