This week we sent our Middle College mixed futsal team to compete in a festival-style tournament, in Whangarei. We had a fun day competing against other Northland teams at McKay stadium. I particularly loved the way that the team quickly gelled together after only one practice and how they utilized all their players, plus encouraging each other. A special mention goes to Declin Edgecombe and Ayden Attwood for umpiring other matches between games, showing great maturity and leadership.
