In health and physical education, students learn about their own well-being, and that of others and society, in health-related and movement contexts.
HPE is about enhancing the students’ sense of self-worth through learning to think critically about health-related and movement contexts. Students learn that well-being is a combination of the physical, mental and emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of people’s lives.
Learning in Health and Physical Education encourages young people to live full, active, and satisfying lives. Students explore challenging situations in order to increase their knowledge and skills and develop understandings about themselves, others, and society.
