On Friday the 6th of August the Interact Group hosted a school sausage sizzle to fundraise for Open Arms, a local homeless shelter whose goal is not just to feed the homeless, but to empower them to find employment and a more stable position in life. Because of this sausage sizzle, we were able to raise around $340 to go towards this charity. We would like to thank every person who contributed to this number – your donation will help Open Arms keep on doing an amazing service in the Whangarei community.
