Responsibilities:
The SENCO’s role is pivotal leadership for ensuring that students with high needs have the learning programmes and support they need to achieve at school. The SENCO works with other staff to ensure that professional development is in place and that effective teaching strategies are applied in classrooms.
Duties include:
Oversee external agency support for students, liaising with whānau.
Work closely with teachers to develop suitable plans to support tamariki.
Coordinate IWS programmes.
Arrange and coordinate TA support and timetabling in and out of classes.
Complete necessary funding applications and provide regular reports on student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
New Zealand teacher registration (or eligibility to obtain registration).
Familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum and its implementation.
Understanding and alignment with Christian values and principles.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Develop and implement an engaging HOD Hospitality, Food & Nutrition Teacher curriculum that aligns with NZC and integrates Christian values.
Teach students fundamental cooking techniques, nutrition, meal planning, and food safety.
Incorporate Christian principles into lessons, promoting gratitude, stewardship, and community involvement.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their growth.
Supervise cooking labs, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students.
Qualifications:
Strong Christian faith and the ability to integrate Christian values into teaching.
Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience.
Proficiency in Food Technology concepts and culinary skills.
Barista skills and training an advantage

As a Year 7-8 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in accordance with our curriculum and Christian principles. You will guide students in their academic journey, provide meaningful feedback, and support their spiritual development.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a NZ registered teacher with the flexibility to teach from years 7 – 11.
